Electric Culture of Safety consists of a grassroots nationwide coalition of partners throughout the Electric Power Industry. A Line Team of folks and companies willingly and freely giving back to our most excellent trade. Sharing Knowledge, Experiences, Resources, and Passion, all for the common resolve of ensuring our Line Crews return home safely to their Family Crews, once Power Restored. We are proud to announce that after just 2 years, ECOS has 11,000+ partners dedicated to our Heroes of Light!

Some time ago I found out about Bierer Meter’s Safety and Tool training offerings. I was asking Brent Jeffries about the history of how the training came about and he went over the long list of tools that were coming back for repair due to the lack of training with user and how Linemen were getting injured due to the lack of safe work practices. Brent and Bierer meters were so dedicated to the safety of Linemen across the country that they put on a roadshow training free of cost for their customers to ensure the safe work practices while using their tools. Fast forward to today, this training morphed into a larger tribe of Electrical Distribution Professionals that want to see everyone go home at the end of their shift. I think the Electric Culture of Safety is one of the best platforms to spread the word about safe work practices and building the culture of safety. I am truly amazed with the quality and subject matter that come through these free webinars. A special thanks to all the professionals that donate their time to this cause!
